Privacy policy
This policy explains how Comunidade SER processes personal data associated with this website and the enquiries you send us.
Data controller
The organisation identified on this page is responsible for data processed by Comunidade SER. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email geral@comunidade-ser.pt or write to the address shown.
Data and purposes
When you contact us or request a visit, we may receive the name, email, telephone number, interests, age group and date/time preferences you provide. We use these details to respond, arrange contact and take pre-contractual steps at your request. Fields marked as required are needed to handle the enquiry; other fields are optional.
Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser details and technical logs to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in security and service continuity. Legal obligations may require certain data to be retained or disclosed.
Optional map, embedded form and performance services only load with your permission. This choice is separate from the legal basis for processing an enquiry you decide to submit. We do not use this website for behavioural advertising or to sell personal data.
Registration, children and sensitive information
The Playgroup registration form is provided by Tally when you allow it, or can be opened directly on the provider’s website. Read the information shown in that form before submitting it. Loading the form does not register you.
Enquiries should be sent by adults or legal representatives. Do not include diagnoses, medical reports or other sensitive data, particularly about children, in general enquiries. Data needed for an educational or therapeutic relationship requires separate information and conditions.
Providers and recipients
Vercel hosts the website. Google Workspace manages our email. Google Maps displays the map when allowed; Tally provides the external form when allowed; Vercel Speed Insights measures performance when allowed.
Website form delivery uses Resend when configured. If delivery is unavailable, the website offers an email alternative and does not confirm receipt. Data is accessible to the team and providers as needed for their roles, or to authorities where legally required.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers must meet GDPR safeguards, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can request information about recipients and applicable safeguards through our privacy contact. See also the providers’ policies linked below.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry data for the time needed to respond and follow up. Where there is a contractual relationship, legal obligation or dispute, retention depends on those purposes and applicable legal periods. You can ask which period applies to your case and request erasure under applicable law.
Access is limited to people and services that need the data. No system guarantees absolute security; avoid sending sensitive information through general channels. Your privacy preference record is valid for 180 days in this browser.
Your rights
Where applicable, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Optional service preferences can be changed in the footer.
We may need to verify your identity proportionately before responding. We respond within legal time limits, normally within one month. You can complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the CNPD. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects through this website.

External links open services with their own policies. Social media images and links on this website are not tracking widgets. We will update this page when our practices change and show the revision date.
